This is a genuine Ford parking brake shoe kit for 2023 to 2025 F-450 and F-550 Super Duty trucks equipped with dual rear wheels, superseding the earlier 8C3Z-2648-B service number. The drum-in-hat parking brake relies on these shoes inside the rear rotor hat to hold the truck when parked. Supplied as the correct OEM lining set, it restores dependable holding force once the original friction material has worn. These shoes are a normal wear item and are included with the brake assembly at the factory. After installation Ford recommends adjusting the parking brake to specification and inspecting the inner drum surface of the rotor hat. Verify dual rear wheel fitment and your truck's configuration before ordering.
