• Description:

  This is a Genuine Ford OEM center high-mount stop lamp known by its industry abbreviation CHMSL for 23-26 F-150. The lamp is the cab-mounted brake light at the top center of the rear window or above-cab roof spoiler, providing the third brake signal required by federal motor vehicle safety standards. Each unit ships individually as the factory service piece with the integrated LED array, lens, gasket, and connector pigtail for direct fit to the F-150 cab mounting points. Suitable as a direct replacement when the original housing has cracked, the lens has hazed from UV degradation, internal LED segments have failed, moisture has entered through a worn gasket, or impact damage from cargo or low-clearance contact has compromised the unit. Installation requires release of the cab interior trim panel that backs the lamp, unbolting the lamp from the cab sheet metal, and unplugging the connector.
