  This is the genuine Ford lower molding for the 2024 Ford Ranger, the exterior trim strip that finishes the lower edge of the front grille where the grille surround meets the bumper fascia. It is a cosmetic and protective piece: it closes out the joint between the grille and the fascia so the raw edges of both panels are hidden, it holds the lower margin of the grille at the correct standoff from the bumper, and it takes the first hits from gravel and road spray that would otherwise chip the grille surround itself.
