• Description:

  This genuine Ford air-conditioning evaporator core and case assembly is the lower HVAC case for 2024 to 2025 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks of the later production build. The assembly houses the evaporator core inside the lower climate case behind the dash, where refrigerant absorbs cabin heat to cool the air. Owners replace it when the evaporator leaks refrigerant and the A/C stops cooling, when a musty smell or icing points to a failed core, or when the case is cracked or its blend and mode doors no longer seal. As the factory assembly it matches the case geometry, duct interfaces and mounting exactly, so it integrates with the upper case and ducting without rework. Confirm the later-production application and climate configuration before ordering, since case versions are not interchangeable. Replacement is labor-intensive and involves removing the dash; the system must be evacuated and recharged afterward. Sold as a complete lower case with evaporator core.
