  This is a genuine Ford hood hinge assembly for the left, driver side of the 2024-2025 Mustang, listed in the Ford catalog as the hood hinge. The hinge bolts between the cowl area of the body and the rear edge of the hood, carrying the hood weight and setting the pivot geometry that lets it swing open and closed while holding correct panel alignment and gap to the fenders when latched.
