• Description:

  This genuine Ford latch is the movable quarter panel window latch used on the flip-open side glass of Ford E-Series Econoline vans, cataloged as the sliding or hinged quarter window latch. It fits the E-150, E-250, and E-350 body from 1992 through 2014 and secures the rear side pop-out window in the closed position while allowing it to swing open for ventilation. When this latch wears, cracks, or loses spring tension, the quarter window will not stay sealed, may rattle or leak air and water at speed, or will not lock open, and a broken latch can leave the glass unable to secure at all. Because it is exposed to weather and repeated operation, the latch mechanism fatigues over time and is a common replacement on high-mileage vans. Installing the genuine Ford latch restores a positive lock on the pop-out glass and a proper weather seal.
