This is the genuine Ford upper weather-strip for the driver side of the 1993 through 2011 Ranger in regular cab and super cab two-door configurations, the rubber seal that runs along the upper door frame and roof rail and presses against the top of the door glass and frame to seal out wind, water, and noise. It anchors to the body flange above the door and forms the upper portion of the door weather barrier. After years of sun and door use the original seal dries out, shrinks, cracks, or peels away from its lip, which lets wind noise build at speed, rain drip onto the door panel, and dust enter the cab.
