  This is a genuine Ford transmission oil filler tube, the dipstick tube that routes the automatic transmission fluid dipstick into the transmission on 5.4L V8 F-150 and F-250 trucks with the 4R70W automatic. The tube provides the guide channel for the dipstick so fluid level can be checked and the passage through which transmission fluid is added during service. It mounts to the transmission and routes up to an accessible point in the engine bay with the correct bends and length for the application. Owners replace this tube when it has cracked, corroded, or developed leaks at its seals, when the dipstick will not seat or the tube has been damaged during service, or when a buyer is chasing a transmission fluid leak or fluid seepage at the filler tube.
