  This is a genuine Ford XL3Z-9F472-AA heated oxygen sensor, the original-equipment HEGO sensor that measures exhaust oxygen content for fuel-trim and emissions control on Ford F-150, Ranger, and E-350 applications built from 99 through 14. Threading into the exhaust, the sensor reports the air-fuel mixture to the powertrain control module, which adjusts injector timing to keep combustion efficient and the catalytic converter working properly.
