• Description:

  This is the genuine Ford composite lamp bulb socket used in signal, back-up, stop, turn and side-marker positions, fitting left or right lamp locations across Edge, E-150, E-350, F-150, MKX, Mark LT and Navigator applications. The socket secures the bulb in the composite lamp housing and links it to the vehicle wiring, delivering current to the filament and completing the ground so the lamp operates as designed. Corroded or burned socket contacts, a loosened bulb retention or heat damage at the bulb base commonly cause a dim, flickering, intermittent or dead lamp, and replacing the socket cures these faults where the bulb and wiring are otherwise good.
