This is a genuine Ford body mount cushion nut, the nut Ford uses at the truck pickup box and body mount cushions on F-150, F-150 Lightning, and Bronco from roughly 2017 to 2023, across the 5.5, 6.5, and 8 foot box. It is also catalogued as a mount bolt nut or truck bed nut and replaces W717224, W717756, and W718236. It carries the clamp load that holds the body and box to the frame through the isolating cushions. If a nut that has been torqued to yield is reused, it may not re-establish correct preload, letting the body shift on its cushions and produce movement and noise, so the correct OEM nut installed new restores the engineered hold.
