  This genuine Ford Motorcraft fuel tank pressure sensor monitors the pressure and vacuum inside the fuel tank and evaporative emissions (EVAP) system and reports it to the powertrain control module so the engine can run its leak-detection self tests and correctly manage vapor purge. Mounted on the fuel pump sending unit or the top of the fuel tank, it is a small but critical emissions component used across a wide range of Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles built from 1996 through 2007, including full-size applications such as the Expedition, Navigator, and Blackwood along with E-Series vans and other car and truck lines that share the same EVAP architecture.
