  This genuine Ford clip is the M6 threaded retaining clip that Ford lists under a family of application names including bumper impact absorber clip, bumper cover stay clip, inner bracket clip, isolator clip and washer fluid reservoir clip. It is a shared service fastener used across a wide slice of the modern Ford and Lincoln lineup built from about 2018 through 2026, including Bronco Sport, Escape, Expedition and Maverick, plus Lincoln Corsair and Navigator. The clip is a spring steel cage with a captive threaded insert that slips over a panel flange or bracket edge and gives a bumper cover screw, absorber screw or reservoir screw something solid to thread into where the sheet metal or plastic carrier has no tapped hole of its own. Buyers usually reach for this part during collision repair, bumper cover removal, front end refresh work or washer bottle replacement, when the original clip has rusted, cracked, spun in place or simply fallen out and disappeared.
