• Description:

  This is a genuine Ford rear differential housing insulator, the Ford catalog Differential Carrier Bushing Housing Insulator, a rubber-and-metal isolator bushing that cushions the rear differential or drive unit against the subframe crossmember on all-wheel-drive applications. It is a broad multi-vehicle part used from roughly 2009 through 2020 across Ford Fusion, Taurus, Flex, Explorer, and Escape, plus Lincoln MKZ, MKS, and MKT. The insulator dampens driveline noise, vibration, and harshness, absorbing the torque reaction of the rear drive unit so it is not transmitted directly into the body and cabin.
