• Description:

  This genuine Ford seat heater control module is the electronic control unit that regulates the heated and, where equipped, cooled seat function. It reads the driver or passenger seat-comfort switch input and controls current to the seat heating elements and, on climate-controlled seats, the seat blower, cycling them to maintain the selected comfort level while protecting the elements from overheating. This module is a shared, cross-platform Ford component used across a wide range of cars, trucks, and SUVs built with factory heated or heated and cooled seats, spanning roughly 2007 through 2024 model years on the F-150, Super Duty, Explorer, Expedition, Flex, Fusion, Taurus, Mustang, Edge, and Lincoln and Mercury models so equipped. Drivers replace this module when one or both seat heaters stop warming, heat only intermittently, will not shut off, or when the seat-comfort indicator behaves erratically, symptoms that point to the control module rather than the heating element itself.
