This genuine Ford Motorcraft tire pressure monitoring sensor valve assembly serves as the wheel-mounted sensing unit for a very broad span of Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles, reading each tire's inflation pressure and internal temperature and broadcasting that information by radio frequency to the vehicle's control module so the driver is warned of an underinflated or leaking tire. The complete valve assembly integrates the pressure sensor with its stem and sealing hardware so the unit both monitors the tire and serves as the air valve.
