• Description:

  Authentic Ford Motor Company replacement right-hand passenger-side rear backup (reverse) light assembly for the 20-22 Lincoln Corsair. The assembly is the OEM service backup lamp that provides reverse illumination to assist with rearward visibility when the vehicle is in reverse. Each piece is sold individually and the right- and left-hand backup lamps are not interchangeable. The lamp mounts in the rear of the vehicle using the original Lincoln stud and clip pattern and connects to the original rear lighting harness through the factory connector. Replacing a cracked, fogged, or non-functional rear backup lamp restores the original rearward illumination, restores DOT-compliant reverse light function, and seals the lamp housing against moisture intrusion that can damage the surrounding sheet metal. The lamp uses an integrated light source; the entire assembly is the service replacement and individual bulbs are not field-serviceable. After installation, the backup lamp should be tested with the transmission in reverse and the lens should be inspected for proper seating and seal against the body.
