• Description:

  Authentic Ford Motor Company replacement right-hand passenger-side power tailgate (power liftgate) lift motor for the 20-25 Lincoln Corsair equipped with the power liftgate option. This motor is the current Ford service level part, superseding the earlier -A, -C, -E, and -F suffix motors. The motor mounts between the body and the liftgate on the passenger side and provides the actuator force that raises and lowers the liftgate under power operation. Verify the original vehicle was factory equipped with the power liftgate before ordering since non-power Corsairs use mechanical struts in this location and the parts are not interchangeable. Each motor is sold individually and the left and right motors are not interchangeable. The motor bolts to the body and liftgate using the original Lincoln fastener pattern and plugs into the power liftgate harness through the factory connector. Replacing a failed motor that does not respond to the power liftgate switches, that runs intermittently, or that makes grinding or chattering noise restores the original automatic liftgate operation. After installation, the power liftgate full open and full close positions should be calibrated per the Lincoln service procedure.
